[Corporate News] Leveraging a well-known trademark as an opportunity, the company is striving to obtain China’s Well-Known Trademark designation, thereby fostering sustainable growth.

March 22 In the afternoon, the Administration for Industry and Commerce of Jiangsu Province and Suzhou City jointly convened a symposium with enterprises holding well-known and famous trademarks. Our company’s General Manager, Zhou Wei, was invited to attend the event. During the meeting, General Manager Zhou shared our company’s achievements in trademark and brand strategy with representatives from the provincial and municipal administrations, as well as with entrepreneurs from 21 companies holding well-known or famous trademarks. He also outlined the prospects and strategic direction for the company’s trademark and brand development, while voicing needs and offering recommendations regarding challenges in trademark protection.

At the meeting, General Manager Zhou stated that trademarks are a crucial vehicle for a company’s intangible asset value, and implementing a trademark‑brand strategy is an important means of enhancing the company’s overall competitiveness. Our company places great emphasis on the planning and management of its brand strategy, having set the goal of “leveraging well‑known trademarks as a springboard to strive for China’s Well‑Known Trademark status, thereby fostering the company’s sustainable development.” As early as 1997, we registered the “Liu Liu” series of trademarks, which bear the same name as the company. Since 2004, the “Liu Liu” trademark has been consecutively recognized as a Suzhou‑level Famous Trademark and a Jiangsu‑province Well‑Known Trademark, enjoying high levels of public awareness. The “Liu Liu” trademark has become a key intangible asset for the company, making its protection of paramount importance. However, “building a brand is difficult; safeguarding it is even more so.” Some manufacturers have long targeted Liu Liu‑branded ophthalmic instruments, marketing counterfeit products bearing the Liu Liu trademark. In recent years, instances of trademark infringement have occurred with increasing frequency, seriously harming the company’s interests. We therefore urge the industrial and commercial authorities to strengthen market supervision, intensify inspection efforts, and effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of both consumers and the company.

Finally, General Manager Zhou stated that our company will further strengthen the implementation of its trademark and brand strategy, leveraging relevant laws and regulations to broaden the scope of trademark registration and safeguard our brand. At the same time, we will remain committed to technological innovation, vigorously developing ophthalmic medical consumables and consumer‑grade healthcare products, so that Liuliu‑branded offerings can better serve the ophthalmology sector and help us realize our vision of expanding globally and establishing an internationally recognized brand.
