On June 21, nearly 20 trainees from across the country gathered at the Taoyuan International Resort Hotel in Suzhou to attend the 14th Training Course on Strabismus and Amblyopia Diagnosis and Treatment, as well as Orthoptic Equipment Application, co-hosted by Liuliu Vision Company and Wenzhou Medical University. The course was led by Professor Zhang Fang, Director of the Strabismus and Amblyopia Department at the Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University, along with Professors Xu Suzhong and Chen Yuanyuan, and Teacher Liu Hu from Jiangsu Provincial People’s Hospital, while Professor Wang Lejin from the First Affiliated Hospital of Renmin University of China served as a key instructor for both lectures and hands-on training sessions.
This session of the training course maintained the established format of unified scheduling for lectures, hands-on practice, and accommodation, greatly facilitating instructors’ and participants’ time management. It also made lesson preparation more convenient for teachers, while allowing participants to make the most of their breaks and after‑class hours for practical exercises. Participants and instructors have formed a WeChat group, fostering a lively atmosphere for course discussions and case-based learning, with overwhelmingly positive feedback on the teaching outcomes.
To keep pace with the ongoing advancements in both academic research and clinical practice, and in accordance with the requirements of Wenzhou Medical University and the training program agreement, this course has adopted newly developed teaching materials that reflect the latest developments, earning unanimous praise from participants. The textbook cover has also been completely redesigned, featuring QR codes for Wenzhou Medical University and Liuliu Vision, as well as the respective corporate logos, thereby further highlighting the collaborative partnership between the two parties.
In recent years, with the development of ophthalmic and optometric services across hospitals in various regions of China, coupled with the continuous upgrading of standards in the eyewear‑fitting, refraction, and eye‑care industries, the importance of diagnosing and treating strabismus and amblyopia has received growing attention, and the use of synoptophores has become increasingly widespread. As an officially designated training program for synoptophore users, participants diligently engaged in both theoretical study and hands‑on practice, mastering the essential diagnostic and therapeutic techniques while also appreciating the meticulous organization and attentive service provided by Liuliu Vision. This further underscored Liuliu Vision’s corporate image as a dedicated provider of high‑quality ophthalmic services to eye care professionals and practitioners.
